What’s the difference between The Original, The Original Folding and The Studio?
Whilst the features of our Pilates Reformers vary between models, each one features premium fittings and is made from high quality materials.
The Original
This Reformer is designed to exceed expectations of what's on the market at the same price point. Lighter than The Studio, it can be wheeled into different areas of your home.
The Original Folding
Essentially the same as The Original model, with the added ability to be folded for convenience or stored away while not in use. Both The Original and The Original Folding have the added benefit of adjustable legs that allow the frame to be lifted to a height of up to 36cm.
The Studio
The Studio has a beautiful and solid frame, using double the amount of timber than our lighter models. With plush upholstery and additional foot-bar positions, this model is built for a commercial/studio environment or a permanent feature in your in-home studio.
What do the colours of the springs mean?
Our Reformers feature a total of 5 springs: two red springs, two blue springs and one yellow spring.
Red = full strength (heavy resistance)
Blue = half strength (medium resistance)
Yellow = quarter strength (light resistance)
What is the maximum weight allowance for the Reformers?
• The maximum weight limit of The Studio and The Rental is 160kg
• The maximum weight limit of The Original and The Foldable is 130kg

How do I care for my Reformer?
Follow these simple tips to keep your bed in top condition:
- Keep your Reformer Bed indoors and protected from the elements.
- No food or drink on the Reformer Bed.
- Dust/wipe down the railings once a week to keep the movement of the Reformer Bed running smoothly.
- Wipe down the upholstery after use. To do this, just use general dishwashing detergent in water and a wet cloth. Wet the cloth and wipe down upholstery, avoid spraying liquid directly onto the Reformer Bed, then let upholstery air dry.
- If you choose to wash the hand and feet straps, place in a lingerie washing bag in the washing machine on a gentle cycle, and hang in direct sunlight to dry.
- Rotate through Reformer Bed springs evenly, to ensure they wear well and you get the most use out of them.
- When not using the Reformer Bed, it’s safest to leave one red spring connected so that the carriage doesn’t move if someone were to sit/place weight on it. Avoid leaving all springs on as this can wear the tension of the springs out faster.
- Springs are recommended to be replaced in a commercial setting every 24 months. You can purchase individual springs from us by emailing us directly.
- Every few months, take your carriage off the base of the Reformer Bed and tighten the nuts on the carriage wheels to keep it tracking straight on the rails.
How much space do I need for a Reformer?
In addition to the Reformer’s dimensions, you will also need to consider allowing at least 50cm at the end of the Reformer in front of your foot bar, and at least 50cm either side for lateral movements.
What flooring is suitable for my Reformer?
Like with any piece of furniture in your home, we recommend extra protection for the flooring underneath the Reformer. Something non-slip is always a great option for stability.
I’m a beginner, which model would be best for me?
The Rental and The Original models are excellent options as a beginner. Our App will guide you along with introductory orientation videos to make sure you are confident using your Reformer, as well as beginner Pilates programs to give you the foundations to progress.
Is the Jumpboard & Box included in the Payment Plan?
No, our Jumpboard & Box pack is an additional cost on a payment plan purchase. Jumpboard & Box packs are included with The Rental and any outright purchase.
Can I purchase the Reformer I have rented?
No. Unfortunately we do not offer purchases on The Rental – these Reformers are specifically allocated for rental use.
However, if you really love using The Rental and want to purchase your very own Reformer, we will offer a credit of your rental bond towards your purchase and will line-up the delivery of your new Reformer when we collect The Rental so there is no downtime between renting and purchasing with us.
