A second person is recommended to support the removal of the carriage from the frame.

Is The Original Folding a good Pilates Reformer for small apartments?

Yes. This is the Reformer we built for city living and tight floor plans. The frame folds in half down to about 122cm long and 50.8cm tall, which means it stores away for maximum space saving when not in use. . You get the full studio-length Reformer when it's open, then your living room back when you're done.

How does The Original Folding compare to a non-folding Reformer?

The Original Folding has the same features and components as our non-folding model - The YR Original: a smooth carriage, 5 commercial springs (2 heavy red, 2 medium blue, 1 light yellow), a 5-position foot bar, and a three-position headrest. The difference is the hinge in the frame, which lets you fold it down for storage instead of leaving it on permanent display. Performance at home matches what experienced practitioners feel in a studio session.

How much weight can the YR Original Folding support?

The YR Original Folding has a user weight rating of 120kg and is built with a solid Maple Wood frame plus an 8-wheel carriage running on reinforced rails. It's engineered to keep up with daily use by the most experienced practitioners, not just light home sessions.

How do I care for and clean the YR Original Folding?

Keep your Reformer indoors and wipe the railings down weekly with a dry cloth to keep the carriage gliding smoothly. After each session, wipe the upholstery with a cloth dampened in water and a little dishwashing detergent, then air dry. Hand and foot straps can be washed in a lingerie bag on a gentle machine cycle, and rotating the springs evenly will extend their life. Leave one red spring on in between sessions to stop the carriage moving, but never leave all five engaged.

How is The Original Folding delivered and assembled?

Shipping is nationwide across Australia, New Zealand and the Continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Eligible metro areas qualify for Valet Delivery, where our team brings the Reformer into the room of your choice, assembles it, and removes the packaging. Outside those areas, the Reformer ships in its crate either to your door (available in the US) or to the nearest depot with clear setup instructions, and arrives mostly pre-assembled.

What's included with The Original Folding and is there a warranty?

Your YR Original Folding arrives with your essential Pilates accessories: Grip Socks, Pilates Jumpboard & Box, and Prop Starter Kit (includes a Pilates Ring, Pilates Ball and Hand Weights). I had been renting their reformers a number of times and so when I decided to take the plunge, buying a reformer from YourReformer was the logical choice.
Why:
- the reformers are top quality, very similar to ones I'd used in places such as Kaya and KXPilates (but I don't know if they're the same)
- customer service is top-notch, back when I was renting there was a fault with the reformer I received and they replaced it straight away

Two weeks so far owning

I wish I had got this reformer earlier! I turn on the heater in my spare room , often just do the class in my underwear so easy and with the App it’s like I have my own expensive class in my home ! The bed is so well made even my doubting builder husband said to me he couldn’t find fault in its design. I love that it’s low impact but the best thing is while it’s exercise it feels relaxing and like self indulgence!

I’ve had it for two weeks now and genuinely can’t fault it. The delivery experience was excellent. The team set everything up quickly and made the whole process completely stress-free.

The app is fantastic and offers such a huge variety of classes, from beginner sessions to more challenging workouts. I especially love the different challenges and programs that keep me motivated. I’ve done almost a class every day since it arrived.

I’ve attended Pilates classes before, so I had high expectations, and the reformer itself has exceeded them. The bed is sturdy, smooth, and feels incredibly high quality.

I am so happy I went with Your Reformer! The quality of the reformer and the accessories are excellent. The delivery drivers were helpful in set up and questions. I love the app and being able to do pilates in the comfort of my own home. Its also nice to know if last minute I feel like doing a class the chances of it being booked out is nil. Now price wise for my budget this was the best thing, so cost effective and I am saving money straight away as both my husband and I had Pilates memberships. I would recommend Your Reformer if you are thinking of getting one.

I absolutely love reformer, but found the classes to be so expensive and it was really hard to fit it into my schedule and ever since I got my reformer at home I have used it every single day even if it’s just for a brief stretch stretching session or for a full-blown workout.
